Heartland Optical Buying Group, Ltd., is a corporation formed in 1981. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, a city with honest, warm, friendly, good people. Presently the majority of our members are located in the Midwest, but we do have members in other states as well.
Heartland
is customer service driven, affording our members the very best possible
service. Your questions and problems are answered promptly, in a
friendly manner and someone is always glad to help. As a service
to our members, a monthly newsletter is published to keep members informed
of changes and news from suppliers.
Heartland
Optical Buying Group, Ltd. is financially sound and has an excellent credit
rating.
The
buying group also has an excellent computer system and a programmer.
This allows us to adapt to any companies billing structure. Programming
is an ongoing project, as the suppliers change their programs frequently.
Heartland is only a billing office and does not stock any product. The buying group member orders from the supplier using an assigned ship-to number with the billing sent to the buying group for payment. Heartland consolidates all invoices into one statement so the members need to write only one check for payment.
All
credit policies follow the terms set up by each supplier. All returns
are sent back to the supplier from which they were ordered.
Heartland Optical has all the major suppliers available for members use and all the good discounts they give. Suppliers are added all year long, some are member requested and some are approached by the buying group and added.
